Organize your links

Twenty links.
Zero chaos.

Group links under labeled headers, drag anything anywhere, pin the one link that matters this week, and switch the rest off without deleting them. Your visitor decides in about three seconds — give them a page they can scan.

A cluttered bio kills clicks.

Every link you add competes with every other link. When a visitor lands on fourteen identical buttons in no particular order, they don't read all fourteen — they skim three, feel nothing, and go back to scrolling. The fix isn't fewer links. It's structure: one pinned priority, labeled sections a thumb can skip between, and dead links switched off instead of left rotting at position twelve.

  • Position one gets a disproportionate share of clicks — earn it deliberately
  • Section labels let visitors jump to what they came for instead of reading everything
  • An expired link at any position teaches visitors the whole page might be stale

1 pin, 2 sections, dead links toggled off — not deleted.

Four tools, one scannable page.

Everything below is on the Free plan. None of it requires rebuilding your page or losing a single click of history.

Link groups with labels

Split your page into named sections — 'Now', 'Listen', 'Work with me', 'Archive'. Labels render as headers on your public page, so a visitor hunting for your booking link skips straight past your podcast section instead of reading through it. Reorder entire groups as a unit when priorities shift.

Drag-and-drop reorder

Grab any link and drop it anywhere — within a group, into a different group, or up to the top of the page. Order saves instantly and the live preview shows exactly what visitors see. No position fields, no save-and-refresh loop, no support ticket to move one button.

Toggle off, never delete

Sale over? Season ended? Flip the link inactive. It vanishes from your public page immediately but keeps its URL, title, position, and complete click history. Reactivate it next quarter and it returns exactly where it was — with last year's numbers still in analytics for comparison.

Pin the one that matters

Hold one link at the very top, above every group — your launch, your tour, this week's drop. When the campaign changes, swap the URL and title on the pinned slot instead of shuffling the whole page. Per-link analytics tell you if the pin is earning its position or if a link buried in a group deserves the promotion.

Order by evidence

Rank links by clicks, not vibes.

Every link on hasl.ink tracks its own clicks — free, from day one. Open analytics, sort by clicks, and your page order writes itself: the link earning 60% of taps goes to the pin, the two links nobody has touched since April get toggled off. Reorder, wait a week, check the time-series chart, repeat. It's the least glamorous growth loop that actually works.

The 10-minute cleanup playbook.

How to go from link pile to link system, in order. Works on any page with more than five links.

01

Toggle off the dead weight

Expired promos, closed shops, last year's webinar. Don't delete — toggle inactive so the history survives for next time.

02

Name 2-4 groups

One for what's current, one for evergreen work, one for ways to pay you. If a group would hold one link, it isn't a group.

03

Drag links into place

Current stuff up top, money links in their own labeled section, everything archival at the bottom. Whole groups drag too.

04

Pin one link. Only one.

The single action you most want this week. Two pins is zero pins. Check clicks in seven days and defend or replace it.

Organizing FAQ.

The mechanics, spelled out.

How do link groups work on hasl.ink?+
You create a group, give it a label ('Now', 'Projects', 'Podcast', whatever), and drag links into it. The label renders as a section header on your public page, so visitors see a structured page instead of an undifferentiated column of buttons. Groups are reorderable too — drag a whole section above another and every link inside moves with it.
Is there a limit on how many links or groups I can have?+
No. Unlimited links and unlimited groups on every plan, including Free. The limit worth respecting is your visitor's patience — which is exactly why grouping exists. Twenty links in three labeled sections scans fine; twenty links in one flat list does not.
Can I hide a link without deleting it?+
Yes — every link has an active/inactive toggle. Toggle a link off and it disappears from your public page instantly, but keeps its URL, title, position, and its entire click history in analytics. When your workshop reopens or the sale comes back, flip it on and it returns exactly where it was. No rebuilding, no lost data.
What happens to click counts when I reorder or move links between groups?+
Nothing — that's the point. Click history is attached to the link itself, not its position. Drag a link from position eight to position one, or from one group to another, and analytics continue uninterrupted. You can then check the time-series chart to see whether the promotion actually changed its click rate.
How do I decide what to pin at the top?+
Pin the one thing you are actively pushing this week — a launch, a booking page, a new episode. hasl.ink's per-link analytics make this a data decision instead of a guess: sort your links by clicks, and if your top-positioned link isn't your top-clicked link, swap them. Most people find one link earns 40-60% of all clicks; that link belongs at position one, above any group.
Does organizing links cost extra?+
No. Groups, drag-and-drop reordering, the active/inactive toggle, and pinning are all on the Free plan, along with unlimited links and click tracking. Paid plans ($6/mo Pro, $15/mo Creator) add things like full analytics history, custom domains, and more AI chat — not basic page organization. Linktree, for comparison, starts gating layout and customization behind $5-24/mo tiers.
